A teacher or your school’s administration should be able to tell you if have the option of offline access.
If that is the case, you have the option to access dictionaries offline through the desktop application Ordbogsprogrammet.
You can download Ordbogsprogrammet to your computer here. The application only works on the computer to which it is downloaded, and does not work on mobile devices.
Dictionaries for offline use must be downloaded separately. Ordbogsprogrammet can also be used to look up words in your online dictionaries.

If you have just set up your user account, your first login must be from the website (www.ordbogen.com). Once you have done that, you will be able to log into our apps with your user account.
You must log in with the email address you used to set up your user account. If you have forgotten your password, you can choose a new one here.
Using ordbogen.com requires you to set up a user account with an active subscription.
If your subscription has expired, you can easily resubscribe to reestablish your access.
A new payment card can only be added if your user account has an active subscription.
If renewal has failed, your subscription will automatically be deactivated and you will have to resubscribe.
We no longer offer new subscriptions for individual dictionaries or small package solutions. We have switched to a flatrate model offering only two different packages with a minimum subscription to all of our 70 general-language dictionaries.
Furthermore, we now only offer monthly subscriptions.
An old subscription may have been retained through automatic renewals but if autorenewal fails, the subscription is automatically deactivated in which case it won’t be possible to reactivate it because it has been discontinued.

As a private customer with a Premium or Pro subscription, you can enable offline access through the desktop application Ordbogsprogrammet.
If you have one of our former subscription types without offline access, you will have to switch to one of the above subscriptions in order to enable offline access.

We will be able to find it for you right away if you simply send us an email letting us know where you work. Please also indicate your work email address if that is not the one you are writing from.
